JUVENTUS are ready to pounce in a stunning transfer swoop for Luis Suarez, according to reports.
Barcelona are still hopeful of a reunion with their old trickster Neymar and if the move goes through, the Italians could move for Suarez, it has been claimed.
The Catalans are desperate to land Neymar and are working round the clock to agree a deal with Paris-Saint Germain.
But negotiations are also taking place between Juve and Barca about a potential move for Suarez, according to Italian outlet TuttoSport.
FIGHTING FOR HIS PLACE
Despite the fact Suarez, 31, is the main striker at the Nou Camp, reports suggest the arrival of Neymar and the summer arrival of Antoine Griezmann could see the ex-Liverpool man fighting for his place.
Suarez was forced off during Barca’s opening day La Liga defeat at Atheltic Bilbao.
And Ousmane Dembele was also sidelined for five weeks with a hamstring injury picked up in the same game.
