NEYMAR is unable to fly his £10million helicopter as it has been grounded by authorities in Brazil.
The aircraft’s Airworthiness Verification Certificate (CVA) has reportedly expired.
Neymar will be unable to use the helicopter until the certificate is renewed, with CVAs expiring every three years.
The helicopter is being stored in Brazil but was used by Neymar in Paris while he still played for Paris Saint-Germain.
It was there he customised the chopper, adding a Batman logo to the ten leather seats inside.
The vehicle is also adorned with Neymar’s initials ‘NJR’ – for Neymar Jr.
It is a Mercedes model which weighs 3.7 tons, boasts two turboshaft engines and can fly autonomously at night.
It costs around £10m and was purchased by Neymar’s company in 2019.
The superstar previously owned two other helicopters including a Cessna C which seats up to 12 people.
Neymar has a reported net worth of around £250million and was treated to several luxury gifts after he signed for Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal last summer.

Alongside his £2.5million-a-week contract, Neymar was given eight cars including a Bentley Continental GP, an Aston Martin DBX and a Lamborghini Huracan.
He also asked for three saunas to be in the house as well as five full-time workers, including a sous chef to help his personal chef from Brazil and for two people to take care of the cleaning.
A source has also told SunSport that Neymar asked for all the costs of his stays at hotels, restaurants, and cities that he may visit on days off to be covered by Al-Hilal’s owners.
