BARCELONA are preparing to make an official offer for Neymar ‘in the coming days’, according to reports.
Brazilian superstar Neymar has long been linked with a mega-money return to Catalonia from Paris Saint-Germain.
But French giants PSG are determined to pick up a world record transfer fee of £200million.
That would be £2m more than they paid Barca for Neymar back in 2017, at the time obliterating the world record paid for Paul Pogba a year before.
But, according to Goal, negotiations are expected to begin between the clubs within the next few days as Barcelona prepare for talks.
Josep Maria Bartomeu, president at the Camp Nou, suggested they had accepted defeat in the pursuit of the 27-year-old.

He said: “We know that [Neymar] wants to leave PSG, we know that, but we also know PSG do not want him to go. There is no way.”

Relations between the two clubs broke down after Neymar’s acrimonious departure two years ago.
Ernesto Valverde has already got one of his top targets this summer having finally signed Antoine Griezmann.
The Frenchman was a long-term target during his prolific period at Atletico Madrid.
But Griezmann was finally prised from Diego Simeone this summer in a £107m buyout clause.
