REAL MADRID have offered Paris Saint-Germain £80million plus Gareth Bale in an attempt to bring Neymar to the Bernabeu, according to reports in Spain.
Brazilian superstar Neymar was left out of PSG’s squad for a friendly against Nurnberg on Saturday having been strongly linked with a return to Barcelona.
But La Liga rivals Real have made a desperate bid to hijack Barca’s deal.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Bernabeu chiefs have made French giants PSG a mega-money offer which also includes a swap deal for Bale.
The Welsh winger’s time in the Spanish capital appears to have come to an end after his fractious relationship with Zinedine Zidane sunk to new depths this week.
Los Blancos boss Zidane publicly stated that Bale was on the verge of leaving the club.
He blasted: “We hope he leaves soon. It would be best for everyone. We are working on his transfer to a new team.
BALEOUT
“I have nothing personal against him, but there comes a time where things are done because they must be done.
“I have to make decisions. We have to change.
“The exit is the coach’s decision, and also of the player, who knows the situation.
“The situation will change, I do not know if in 24 or 48 hours, but it will – and it’s a good thing for everyone.”
Bale joined Real Madrid in 2013 for a world-record £86million and has won four Champions Leagues with the Spanish giants.
And Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett was quick to slam the French coach for his words.
Barnett said: “Zidane is a disgrace, he shows no respect for a player that has done so much for Real Madrid.
“If and when Gareth goes it will be because it is in the best interest of Gareth and nothing to do with Zidane pushing.”
On whether Bale is close to leaving Madrid, Barnett added: “We are working on it.”
Reports in China say Bale has agreed to join Super League side Jiangsu Suning for a staggering £1million per week.
Billionaire Zhang Jindong is the president of Suning Group which owns the club and his company also holds the majority of shares of Italian football giants Inter Milan.
