NEYMAR has reportedly opened the door to Manchester United as he desperately bids to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
However, the Red Devils’ failure to qualify for the Champions League could prove fatal to their hopes of signing the £198million star.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Neymar, 27, does not feel at home in Paris and is unhappy at not being the club’s star name – that being Kylian Mbappe.
His preferred destination is Barcelona but their recent move for Antoine Griezmann, coming in at £108m, effectively rules that out.
The only solution would be for PSG to accept a wealth of players in exchange, and then for Neymar to drop his lawsuit against the Catalans for allegedly failing to pay his loyalty bonus owed around the time of his messy exit.

United are among the mega clubs that the forward is considering with any major European team an acceptable destination.
But leaving Paris to play in the Europa League is naturally seen as an unpalatable backwards step.
Neymar’s alternative options are reportedly Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus.
PSG are well aware of Neymar’s desire to get out – it is said he has felt this way since only a few months into his spell at the club.
The final decision on whether to let him leave rests with the club’s Qatari owners, with manager Thomas Tuchel admitting that the Brazilian communicated his request to leave a number of weeks ago.
